Beware of Kids Singing Viva Viagra after Watching Baseball Playoffs

As major league baseball will tell you, it's October and that means playyoff baseball. That's supposed to be a good thing. Not a huge interest for a busy, multi-minding woman like me or many of you, I suspect. But, my husband and son love it. It's like apple pie, right?

Well, it did get my attention the other night, but not because of wins, losses or outstanding pitching. After watching many a game, my eight-year old son started singing "viva viagra" around the house. You know, that lovely tune based on Elvis' "Viva Las Vegas," only for ED.

So now do I need to explain ED and Viagra to my son and pleasd with him not to sing it in school or just let it go and let everyone have a good laugh?

Why do marketers have to do that?

I have two boys (10 and 12) who found this tune very catchy. Who could blame them, it is catchy. If someone asked me-"What is that song in the Viagra commercials" I would break into tune...like a contestant on Don't Forget the Lyrics. But does it really entice consumers to buy the product? For me, a 40 year old who is married to a 40 year old...not so much. However, it did actually inspire my sons to ask "What is ED?” Needless to say…before drug companies were permitted to advertise prescription medications on TV this question was not part of the standard “Birds and the Bees” discussion (our parents had it easy). Blindsided, I frantically searched for the right words. Hoping my sons would lose interest; I tested the waters a bit and began with a long drawn out WELLLL...no such luck. They sensed that they had made me uncomfortable and with that, they summoned every last bit of patience and relentless doe-eyed wonder. So I answered them as truthfully as possible…all the while lamenting the fact that these things never happen when my husband is home. Truthfully, looking back on it now, the conversation was a lot less horrifying than I had expected ...and it did produce one positive side effect. It seems to have zapped the catchiness right out of that song…at least for the boys! Ooh...the Magic of Marketing!

First off all I would like to thank you for that great post. It's very interesting to read your posts. As I can see, a lot of people here knows much about ED treatment maybe they can help me. For a long time I can't decide what is better: to buy viagra, to buy cialis or to buy levitra? I found this Canadian pharmacy to buy all this things, so can somebody help me to make a decision? IMHO I should buy viagra online
