This blog will help me collect input from women for my upcoming book, Too Busy to Shop: Marketing to Multi-Minding Women. I'd love to hear from you!
Women today are busier than ever, including me. Multi-tasking has evolved into multi-minding as we physically and mentally juggle the many dimensions of our complex lives. All of that activity leaves little time for commercial messages. And that means, dare I say it, I am too busy to shop.
Yet, as the primary purchaser for my household, I need and want to buy. How does a marketer reach me? That’s a tough one. But, based on my busy lifestyle, I can tell you what works for me and what doesn’t. Perhaps if we share our thoughts and experiences, we can help marketers manage their brands and businesses so they work with our busy lives, not against them.
